East Africa Diaspora Community Partners with Faith and Learning International

Thanks so much for your support in our ministry. We could not do this without you! This last week
on FB live we announced our partnership with Faith and Learning International.  Please check it out on Youtube Big Announcement if you did not see it already. We have a new FB page East-Africa-Diaspora-Community Facebook --please check it out and like and share!

We have been thankful for Cornerstone Christian Church who received our support these last 6 months but are excited that we have found a more permanent solution with Faith and Learning International who will be our Fiscal sponsorship which “ refers to the practice of non-profit organizations offering their legal and tax-exempt status to groups—typically projects—engaged in activities related to the sponsoring organization's mission. It typically involves a fee-based contractual arrangement between a project and an established non-profit.” They will also handle all our back office of running our nonprofit and take a small percentage of our giving to cover for this service.  Please take time to visit their website Faith and Learning International .

We really like Faith and Learning International’s story and purpose “ In 2004, the founders of Faith and Learning International felt called to serve God and the Church worldwide in an unique yet practical way. Our purpose is to serve those who have received a calling to ministry.  We understand that many missionaries and ministries get bogged down with administration, accounting, policies and operational procedures.  We want our projects to spend time serving, not with spreadsheets. It’s important to know FLI is not a missionary sending agency.  We are ideal for the entrepreneurial person with a vision for mission outside the parameters of the typical mission/sending agency. Our structure keeps our overhead at a minimum, meaning more dollars are spent on ministry than on paperwork.FLI is a full member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability(ECFA).  We are an IRS 501(c)3 organization authorized to issue tax deductible receipts for charitable contributions.  Annual audits conducted by an independent firm are available upon request.” We really feel that this is a great fit for East African Diaspora Community and are excited about where God takes us.

Our project is found in the World Wide section under East Africa Diaspora Community: Dave & Jana Jenkins. We have also created our own website at  East African Diaspora Community website You can either go to our online giving page for EADC Giving Page, or donors can also mail checks made out to East Africa Diaspora Community to PO Box 480, Wheaton, IL  60187.

Currently, we are only about 19% funded so we have some additional support to discover. We would
love for our current supports to introduce us to like-minded individuals and/or Churches.   But most importantly we would like for you to continue joining us with your prayers. We believe this is God’s work that he has called us too and believe that He will provide!

Blessings,

Dave and Jana Jenkins
